ABOUT DAUGHTERS AGAINST ALZHEIMER'S
-
We accelerate groundbreaking Alzheimer's research that is transforming earlier detection, advancing new treatments, and bringing hope to millions of families.
-
It Started with Two Daughters. Today, It Is a Movement.
Daughters Against Alzheimer's was founded in 2017 by Michelle Rooks and Susan Watson, two daughters who watched Alzheimer's change the lives of their own mothers and families.
What began as a deeply personal mission has grown into a movement of thousands of supporters united by one goal: changing the future of Alzheimer's.
Together, we have raised more than $9 million to accelerate groundbreaking research at Emory's Goizueta Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, advancing earlier detection, innovative treatments, and the breakthroughs bringing hope to millions of families.
While our name reflects where our journey began, our mission belongs to everyone. Our community includes daughters and sons, caregivers, researchers, physicians, corporate partners, volunteers, and families—all working together to create a future where Alzheimer's can be detected earlier, treated more effectively, and ultimately prevented.
-
We fund groundbreaking Alzheimer's research focused on earlier detection, prevention, and more effective treatments—bringing hope to families today and helping create a world without Alzheimer's tomorrow.
-
We believe the future of Alzheimer's is being rewritten.
Every breakthrough brings us closer to preserving memories, giving families more time together, and creating a world where Alzheimer's no longer defines the future.
