Each year, The Atlantan honors a select group of Atlanta’s most influential leaders as Social Spotlights, recognizing their outstanding impact through philanthropy, leadership, and service. In 2026, Daughters Against Alzheimer’s Co-Founders Michelle Rooks and Susan Watson, creators of the signature fundraising event Battle for the Brain, were named Social Spotlights and celebrated on stage at the magazine’s annual black-tie Charity & Social Datebook awards ceremony.
