Emory Healthcare Community Health Champion Award | 2026

Daughters Against Alzheimer’s Co-Founders Michelle Rooks and Susan Watson were honored with Emory Healthcare’s Community Health Champion Award, recognizing their outstanding partnership and commitment to advancing community health through Alzheimer’s research, education, and advocacy. Selected from more than 200 community partners, Daughters Against Alzheimer’s was recognized for its transformative impact on accelerating research, increasing awareness, and helping bring hope to families affected by Alzheimer’s disease. The award was presented at Emory Healthcare’s annual Community Health Champions Awards Breakfast on June 11, 2026, at the Carter Center in Atlanta.  

Women of Style & Substance Honorees | 2026

Michelle Rooks and Susan Watson were honored as 2026 Women of Style & Substance, recognized among Atlanta’s most influential women making a meaningful difference and positive impact in the Atlanta community. This distinction celebrates leaders who combine professional excellence with a deep commitment to philanthropy and service -- qualities that define Michelle and Susan’s work through Daughters Against Alzheimer’s.
